Tarrant County is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator responsible for operating specialized construction equipment for road maintenance and city projects. The ideal candidate will ensure safety standards, perform routine maintenance, and manage work schedules. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and relevant experience. Additional requirements include a Class A CDL and a tanker endorsement. This role involves physical demands and a commitment to safety.
Proficient in the operation of complex and specialized heavy construction equipment involved in the maintenance and construction of County roads and city projects.

The selected candidate(s) must pass a pre-placement physical examination and drug test.
Upon hire, must provide proof of educational attainment during new hire processing.

Physical demands include stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting objects up to 100 pounds, and exposure to hazardous chemicals, extreme heat, and cold.
