Peak Utility Services Group is seeking an Equipment Operator in Indiana. The role involves assisting line or network crew members with ground work, handling tools and materials, digging trenches, and supporting the construction and maintenance of power lines. The position requires knowledge of all Operator duties, safety adherence, and the ability to work outdoors in various conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Assist crew members by handing tools and materials, helping with setting poles, and clearing right-of-way.
  • Operate heavy equipment like digger derricks, backhoes, skid steers, and bucket trucks.
  • Perform site cleanup and prepare trenches for underground cables.
  • Notify customers about service disruptions and ensure safety protocols.
  • Assist with operating jackhammers, driving trucks, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of equipment operating experience
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to obtain a Class A CDL with Medical Examiner’s Card
  • Pass background checks and drug screening
  • Complete OSHA 10-hour Safety Training within 60 days
