Equipment Operator II - Wastewater - $1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS FOR EQUIPMENT OPERATORS

Operate high-pressure sewer cleaning and closed-circuit TV equipment, backhoes, dump trucks, crew trucks, and other machinery for wastewater collection maintenance. Assist the crew chief with barricading, signing, safety procedures, leak repairs, and line installations using various pipes and fittings. Use hand and power tools for repair, installation, and maintenance of wastewater transmission lines. Support other Water/Wastewater Division staff as needed.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. At least two years of full-time construction and maintenance experience with small to large equipment. Obtain Wastewater Collection III Certifications from the State of Utah within the first year. Must have or be able to obtain a valid Utah Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
