Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid CDL-B license issued by the State of Texas or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment, and maintain
• Knowledge of the Texas Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (TMUTCD)
• Knowledge of safety practices and procedures
• Willingness and availability for emergency response and on-call duties

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of light to heavy equipment for streets and drainage maintenance.
• Inspect and maintain equipment daily; perform minor repairs to assure safe operation.
• Monitor inventory levels of supplies, materials and equipment to complete work efficiently.
• Assist in disasters: set up barricades, remove debris, check signs and detours; clear road obstructions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
