Job summary

Isbell Construction LLC, part of the ElectriCom team, is seeking an Equipment Operator to support aerial and underground fiber projects in Alpine, TX. You will operate excavators, backhoes, and other heavy equipment outdoors in all weather and travel to job sites as needed.

You must read and follow construction plans, perform routine inspections, and adhere to safety protocols. CDL preferred or willing to obtain, valid driver’s license required, and experience with telecom/utility sites is a

• Experience operating heavy construction equipment; telecom/utility experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow construction plans and job specifications.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, trenchers, skid steers, and rock saws.
• Perform excavation, trenching, backfilling, and site preparation.
• Assist crews with groundwork and installation tasks; load, unload, and secure equipment and materials.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs; follow safety procedures.
