Job summary

Kokosing Construction is hiring Equipment Operators for projects in Virginia. You will run Excavators and Dozers on utility, pipe and roadway projects and work with the crew under the supervision of the site foreman.

The ideal candidate has five years of related experience, is safety conscious, and able to pass a practical test. This role pays $25.00-$35.00 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years related experience and/or training.
• Experience operating heavy construction equipment is required.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators and dozers safely on utility/roadway projects.
• Assist crews and follow supervisor instructions.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and inspections.
