Job summary

Engineering/Remediation Resources Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Equipment Operator in Washington state. You will operate bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and related machinery on environmental remediation projects, ensuring safety and efficiency on each shift.

The role requires at least 5 years of equipment operation experience, a high school diploma or GED, and valid certification to operate the assigned machinery. Travel to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of experience operating equipment.
• Certified to operate the assigned equipment; at least 4 years of equipment-specific experience.
• Experience following plans and stakes for cut and fill.
• Ability to sit/operate heavy equipment for up to 100% of shift.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Learn and follow safety regulations.
• Avoid hazards and obstructions on site.
• Operate attachments using control levers and pedals.
• Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders.
• Locate underground services prior to beginning work.
• Monitor operations to meet health and safety standards.
• Align machines with stakes and signals from crew.
• Load and move dirt, rocks, and equipment.
• Drive and maneuver equipment across working areas.
• Coordinate machine actions with other activities on site.
