Steel and other commodities arrive at the facility by truck or rail. We are seeking a Forklift Operator to safely and efficiently transfer these commodities to trucks, rail, or containers for further processing. Responsibilities include:

• Operate forklifts with capacities of 8,000lbs - 21,000lbs.
• Load and unload products from railcars and trucks.
• Support inventory control (inbound/outbound/on ground) and document accurately.
• Prepare load plans for railcars, trucks, and/or containers.
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Inspect and verify product condition for cleanliness and loading compliance.
• Recommend changes to improve work conditions and equipment use to increase efficiency.
• Perform general labor tasks as required.
• Previous relevant forklift experience (capacity of 21,000 lbs.)
• Experience loading/unloading from trucks or railcars is an asset
• Experience in a lumber yard or warehouse is an asset
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
