Job summary

Reunion Resort & Golf Club is seeking an Equipment Operator for full-time AM shifts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining golf course areas and operating various equipment. Candidates should have at least 2 years of golf maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. Qualifications

Job Title: Equipment Operator

Pay

Location: Kissimmee, FL

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Only candidates that meet the below qualifications will be considered

Job Responsibilities

• Mows fairways and roughs with gang units.
• Operates all types of equipment; turf vacuum, turf sweeper, various-loaders, top dressers, aerifiers and sprayers.
• May operate other smaller equipment as trained and directed by Supervisor.
• Ensures that the equipment cooling system is working at all times; refills fuel and checks oil daily; cleans equipment daily; and reports equipment problems or failures to Equipment Manager immediately.
• Provides basic preventative maintenance on equipment as directed by Equipment Manager or Supervisor, and returns equipment to the designated location at the maintenance facility.
• Adhere to Reunion Resort and Golf Club sales and company procedures
• Completing any other task/duties assigned
• Position requires flexibility in scheduling including AM shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Must have attention to detail, strong ability to multi-task, and time-management skills
• Minimum of 2 years in a golf maintenance is required. Resort/Hospitality experience is preferred.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required
• Valid DL is required. Commercial driver’s license preferred.
• Must be able to complete repetitive motions throughout shift such as lifting bending, twisting, climbing, etc.
• Must be able to lift, push, carry, and pull at least 50lbs.
• Exposure to various types of Florida weather conditions including: sunshine, heat, and rain.
• May regularly be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and toxic/caustic chemicals
• Knowledge of safe and efficient mechanical operation of tractors and other motorized equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of the course and all hazards.
• Knowledge of the game of golf and understanding of how conditions affect the golfer and playability.
