XKIG is seeking a dependable crew member for vegetation management in Wisconsin. You will assist Foreperson, prepare equipment, operate tools, and help maintain and repair gear as needed. You may lead in team tasks and support daily activities.

Position requires passing a background check and drug screen; eligible to work in the U.S. Travel for storm restoration may be required. Benefits include health insurance and a 401K.

• Pay or shift range: $25 USD to $26 USD
  This is an estimated pay range for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Description

• Always follow and help enforce safe practices and rules.
• Assist in preparing equipment and materials for each day's work at Foreperson's direction.
• Operate equipment as directed by Foreperson.
• Help maintain and repair equipment and tools used in operations.
• Assist other crew members in all aspects of daily activities and take a leadership role when required.
• Cleans up and disposes of all debris.
• Sets up barriers, warning signs, flags, markers, etc. to protect employees and public.
• Keeps informed on new equipment, specifications, standard practices, operating procedures, and customer and company employee relations policies and practices
• Track and report mileage to Foreperson
• Perform duties for storm work as needed
• Performs daily reporting using AMS system to submit timesheets and billing information.
• Maintain above standard customer relations.

Education and Experience

• Two years' experience in Vegetation Management.
• Experience in safe operations and maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Knowledge of daily maintenance and safe operations of all equipment used.
• Able to hear verbal instructions from a distance.
