Job Responsibilities
  1. Must have knowledge of and comply with the policies and procedures contained in the Lane Automotive handbook.
  2. Perform put away functions of product as directed by I-Pod device. Verify counts and locations through I-Pod device.
  3. Handle errors and communicate them to Material Handling Lead/Manager so that paperwork and product is handled correctly, completely, and promptly.
  4. Stock product within storage locations in a neat and orderly manner to avoid damage and/or lost products.
  5. Rotate stock as needed to ensure FIFO (first in, first out) rules are utilized.
  6. Perform replenishments to prime and non-prime bin locations as directed by I-Pod device. Replenishments are zone to zone and between facilities.
  7. Consolidate product to maximize space utilization based on generated reports.
  8. Keep area clean of debris and product by handling housekeeping issues in a prompt fashion. Manage pallet and corrugated scrap.
  9. Assist with product storage profiling projects. Re-slot based on reports generated by Inventory Control or Material Handling Department.
  10. Perform routine cycle counts.
  11. Provide picking/packing assistance as needed.
  12. Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) with related ability to acquire and utilize computer technology. Minimum one year of experience in an industrial or commercial environment.

Certificates, License, Registration

Power industrial truck licensed, including reach truck certification. Valid driver’s license for moving product between buildings.

Physical Demands
