Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Sets stops on machines, changes dies and adjusts components when making passes
  2. Installs, aligns and secures holding fixtures to machine bed using gauges, templates, feelers, shims and hand tools
  3. Inspects work piece for defects
  4. Measures work piece and verifies dimensions using micrometer, template, straight edge and scale
  5. Selects and positions die sets into the machine and secures them
  6. Performs routine maintenance on equipment and determines when and what kind need to be performed
  7. Reads blueprints for specifications to determine the dimensions of the product
  8. Marks identifying data on workpiece
  9. Troubleshoots and corrects operational and quality issues
  10. Maintains coolant levels and grease levels in machines
  11. Performs other duties as assigned
