Job summary

Kokosing Construction is seeking an Equipment Operator to run Excavators and Dozers on utility, pipe and roadway projects in the Northern VA/DC/MD area. The role requires safe operation, pre-shift fluid checks, and collaboration with trench crews under supervisor instructions.

Qualified candidates will have at least five years of related experience and hold safety certifications or approvals from the Safety Department.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years related experience and/or training.
• Certified or approved by Safety Department or Competent person.

Responsibilities

• Operate Excavators and Dozers for utility/pipe/roadway projects.
• Check fluids and perform routine maintenance as required.
• Follow safety instructions and work within trench and ground signals.
• Assist crew and perform other duties as needed.
