Description

Team Fishel, the Best Choice for Utility Construction and Network Installation, is adding Equipment Operators to our electrical construction team in the Charlottesville, VA area. Responsibilities:

1. Operate company vehicle daily to deliver and pick up materials, reels of cable, steel plates, service tools, and equipment.
2. Work in the field with crews installing manholes, vaults, and completing various tasks.
3. Possess 3+ years of experience operating utility construction equipment safely and productively, including but not limited to backhoes, directional drills, trenchers, skid-steer loaders, cranes, digger derricks, bucket trucks, excavators, and crane trucks.

Requirements & Qualifications

1. Demonstrated electrical distribution construction experience, including work with duct banks.
2. Valid Class A CDL Driver's license preferred.
3. Familiarity with DOT enforcement and compliance regulations.
4. Meet all DOT requirements (physical and drug testing).
5. Ability to communicate effectively with teammates.
6. Willingness to work and follow directions.
7. Thorough working knowledge of utility construction and installation.
8. Willingness to travel is a plus.
9. Bilingual skills are a plus.
