- DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The employee in this position is responsible for operating various types of automotive equipment including single chassis trucks and vans, passenger vans, and buses, on and off the facility grounds. Our team will rely on you to transport residents for medical appointments, treatments, transfers, and activities, as well as pick up and deliver supplies, mail, and other materials. You will also help our mechanics keep vehicles in safe working order, load and unload vehicles, and perform other related job duties.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

- REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months experience in the operation and maintenance of large vans, buses and single-chassis trucks with a gross vehicle weight of 10,001 pounds or more; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirement:
- You must possess a valid Class C Pennsylvania driver's license.
Additional Requirement:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
