Salary Range

$37,802.04 – $48,920.28, with an additional $769.60 CAD.

Responsibilities
  • Perform minor maintenance and operate equipment such as dump trucks, loaders, graders, etc.
  • Use hand and power tools for bridge and roadway maintenance.
  • Assist in tree trimming, masonry, painting, and signage assembly.
  • Perform Temporary Traffic Control and assist in crew reporting.
Qualifications

Knowledge of safety procedures; skills in operating tools and equipment; ability to operate heavy machinery, read reports, maintain highway structures, and work outdoors in various conditions. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work independently.

Other Requirements
  • Respond to emergencies; be “on-call” as needed.
  • Possess a valid Class "E" driver’s license; obtain a Class "B" CDL within specified timeframes.
  • Complete certifications in Temporary Traffic Control.
  • Work around inmates and respond to emergency situations.
Minimum Qualifications

One year of experience operating small/medium equipment; valid Class E driver’s license; ability to obtain CDL within 10 months.

Requirements

Clean driving record; pass drug screening; meet CDL training and licensing requirements; responsible for training costs if leaving within two years.
