Job summary

Batteries Plus in Glendale, WI is seeking an Equipment Operator for 2nd shift to keep our distribution center moving. You’ll safely operate sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling gear to receive, store, and ship products nationwide.

If you enjoy hands-on work and teamwork, we’d love to meet you. The role requires basic math, attention to detail, clear communication, and a team-first attitude, plus availability Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of forklift or pallet jack experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and basic math.
• Clear communication and a commitment to safety.
• Team-first attitude and willingness to learn new systems.
• Availability for 2nd shift, Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
• Load and unload trucks and support inbound/outbound shipments.
• Move, stack and put away product to keep inventory organized.
• Rotate stock and complete quality checks to make sure orders are accurate.
• Inspect equipment before each shift and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Keep work areas clean, organized and free of hazards.
• Help teammates and move between tasks as volume and priorities change.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.

As an Equipment Operator at Batteries Plus, you’ll keep our distribution center moving. Friday: 11:00 am – 7:00 pm
