Job summary

Taylor DM Brands, formerly Amsterdam Printing, in Amsterdam, NY, seeks a 2nd Shift Equipment Operator to join the production team. You will operate and adjust machinery, maintain safety, and coordinate with the production team to meet deadlines.

The shift runs 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday–Friday with overtime. Hourly pay starts at $16 plus shift differential; daily pay option is available per Taylor’s benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to set adjustable mechanism to required tolerances.
• High degree of mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• High degree of mechanical ability.
• Good reading ability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, operate and adjust assigned machinery to specifications per customer work order.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and prepare for the next user.
• Produce product to specifications by following all processes and procedures.
• Performs routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output.
• Visually inspect product throughout run for quality.
• Coordinate with Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and meet deadline changes.

The actual hourly pay rate offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
