Apply today!**About the role**As an **Equipment Operator**, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient processing of inbound materials and refuse of various forms through Reworld’s industrial disposal process.**Position Responsibilities:*** Receive and process inbound materials, through the safe operation of various types of industrial equipment, such as: forklift, track hoe, skid steer, vacuum truck, tanker truck, roll-off truck, walking floor trailer, pressure washer, material handling equipment, and various hand tools* Receive, weigh, unpack, and label containers, as necessary* Safely operate industrial equipment to consolidate dumped refuse on the tipping floor* Follow defined industrial and manufacturing good housekeeping practices at all Reworld facilities and within assigned work areas* Exterior site maintenance and improvement, as needed, which includes: litter collection, painting, snow removal and ice prevention* Traffic Control for incoming/outgoing traffic* Assist facility mechanic(s) with equipment repairs* Additional duties as assigned to ensure safe and efficient facility operations**Position Requirements & Qualifications:*** High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred* A minimum of 1 year experience operating industrial equipment* Must have the ability to work a rotating shift schedule**Physical Demands of the Role:*** Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb* Ability to lift/carry 50lbs* Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces* Qualify to wear a full-face respirator* Consistently work in various weather conditions**Shift:*** This position works on a rotating 12-hour shift including weekends and some holidays.
