Job summary

Gfoat is seeking an experienced equipment operator to support daily operations across construction water and wastewater activities, street and sign maintenance, storm drainage, and parks and recreation tasks. You will operate heavy equipment, assist water/sewer operators, and perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs of equipment.

You must adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations; provide training as requested by supervisor; and ensure safe handling, use, and disposal

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy equipment experience.
• Knowledge of proper operation of heavy equipment.
• Ability to understand written and oral instructions and communicate effectively.
• Ability to build good relationships with the public, employees, and upper management.
• Working knowledge of street and road construction; available for off-hour emergencies when necessary.
