Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a safety-conscious Heavy Equipment Operator to transport materials and support production at our U.S. sites. You will operate heavy equipment, perform routine maintenance, and collaborate with team members to meet production goals.

Job Description
What You'll Be Doing
  • Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently to transport materials.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment functionality.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and maintain workflow.
  • Follow safety protocols and regulatory guidelines to minimize risks.
  • Adapt to various site conditions and assist with general labor as needed.

Conditions of Employment
  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
  • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
