Synagro is seeking an Equipment Operator to run diverse heavy and agricultural equipment across multiple job sites, including loading and land applying material. The role requires safe operation, daily inspections, and occasional overnight travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of project work experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving/heavy or agricultural equipment experience preferred.
• Safe driving record: no serious tickets/accidents in last 5 years or DWI/DUI in last 10 years.

Responsabilités

• Operate equipment in a safe manner at all times.
• Load and land apply material to approved destinations.
• Travel between job sites and plants; overnight travel may be required.
• Clean bio-solids or lime residuals off equipment before leaving site.
• Serve as a brand advocate and represent the company professionally.
• Perform daily inspections and basic preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and tools in good condition.

JOB SUMMARY

The Equipment Operator performs various project work which requires safely operating vehicles and a variety of heavy/agricultural equipment that may include but not limited to; front end loader, belt press, centrifuge, dredger, spreader box, excavator, terragator, and road tractor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Operate equipment in a safe manner at all times
• Perform loading and land application of material at assigned/approved destination
• Travel from job site to job site or plant to job site. May involve overnight travel
• Clean bio-solids or lime residuals off equipment before leaving the field or work site
• Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public
• Conduct daily inspections and perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment
• Perform shop clean up and clean tools and equipment as required
