Martin Marietta's Savannah North Quarry in Savannah, MO is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely move material and support plant operations.

You will participate in safety programs, inspect equipment, perform basic maintenance, and work with a team to load materials and keep operations running smoothly. A high school diploma or GED, 1+ year experience, and a valid US driver’s license are required.

JOB SUMMARY

Martin Marietta is currently looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator at our Savannah North Quarry in Savannah, MO. This position is responsible for safely operating heavy equipment to move material within the plant.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Participate in safety programs and trainings, promoting Martin Marietta's Guardian Angel culture

• Perform basic maintenance on heavy mobile equipment

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• 1+ years of related experience
• Valid US driver's license

Skills:

• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of MSHA regulations
• Effective verbal communication
• Knowledge of machines and tools including their design, use and maintenance

Physical Abilities:

• Ability to work in an outdoor environment year-round
• General physical activities include climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, reach with hands and arms, and handling material
