Job summary

Printswell INC in Pelham, Alabama is seeking a Bindery Machine Operator to set up and operate semi-automated paper cutting equipment. Prior print-finishing experience is a plus, but we will train the right candidate.

This full-time, seasonal role runs through year-end with the possibility of a permanent placement. The position offers daytime or evening shifts (Mon–Fri 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or Sun–Thu 4:30 PM–12:30 AM) and a starting pay of $18.00/hour.

Job Description

The Bindery Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating semi-automated paper cutting equipment. Prior print-finishing experience is a plus, but not required—we will train the right candidate.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Load paper and set up the correct cutting program using computer controls
• Monitor the flow of paper to ensure cutting accuracy and quality
• Identify and correct irregularities during operation
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently
• Mechanical and computer skills are a plus
