Job summary

Liberty Energy is seeking a Field Operator in Odessa, TX to conduct pre/post-trip inspections and rig up/down high and low pressure blending equipment. The role involves basic maintenance on trucks, pumping equipment, frac iron, and hoses, while maintaining DOT paperwork and safe, on-time pumping operations.

You will work in a safety-conscious environment, collaborate with a frac supervisor, and ensure equipment readiness and proper documentation.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
  • Ability to communicate and comprehend the efforts of others.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure equipment is ready to pump on time.
  • Inspect all fluids and visually inspect equipment prior to start-up.
  • Rig up/down frac equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with the frac supervisor during all aspects of the job.
  • Operate frac equipment as assigned.
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance.
  • Follow LOTO procedures.
  • Fill packing lube after each stage and inspect unit for readiness to pump.
  • Complete inspection forms for each piece of equipment.
  • Walk the site to confirm shutdowns and safety checks.
  • Assist with housekeeping before leaving location.
  • Communicate any issues to the frac supervisor.
