Job summary

Sassamon Trace Golf Course, a public 9-hole executive course owned and operated by the Town of Natick, seeks part-time seasonal Equipment Operators for September to November. Salary range $16.97–$17.40 per hour, with flexible schedules including mornings, evenings and weekends.

Primary duties include mowing fairways, roughs and greens, operating small equipment as directed, and maintaining equipment by daily cleaning and reporting issues. Applicants must be 18+ with a MA driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate initiative and the ability to work as a team member.
• Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing ≤50 pounds without assistance.
• Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire shift.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees.
• Perform other reasonable tasks as requested by the Supervisor.

Sassamon Trace Golf Course is a public 9 hole executive length golf course owned and operated by the Town of Natick located on Rt. 27 in Natick. The golf course is situated partially on the former Natick Landfill and a former apple orchard in Sherborn. The par 32 course hosts approximately 42,500 rounds of golf annually and offers instructional programs, leagues and memberships.

We are seeking candidates to fill the following part-time seasonal (September - November) positions.

Hiring Salary Range: $16.97-$17.40 depending on experience and qualifications

Work Hours: Flexible schedules, must be able to work early mornings, evenings and weekend shifts.

Essential Functions

• Responsibilities include mowing fairways, roughs, and greens complexes.
• May operate smaller equipment as directed by the superintendent.
• All equipment is cleaned daily and any problems must be reported to the superintendent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age possessing a MA driver’s license.

Recommended Minimum Qualifications

• Must demonstrate initiative, have the ability to work as a team member.
