Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. Memphis Fulfillment Center is seeking an Equipment Operator for the C-Shift (Mon–Thu, 5:15PM–3:45AM). You will receive merchandise, lift heavy cartons, and operate forklifts safely to support fast, accurate distribution operations in a climate-controlled center.

Compensation includes a base wage of $19.75 per hour plus a shift differential where applicable, with extensive benefits and opportunities for advancement within TJX’s global off-price retail network.

Qualifications

• Must be certified on Reach Truck, Order Picker and Stock Picker.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 70 pounds.
• Must be able to work a night shift schedule and meet pace expectations.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise into the building.
• Lift and move cartons up to 70 pounds daily.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in all tasks.
• Rotate to different department areas as workload changes.
• Operate forklifts at heights up to 35 feet.

Although all Equipment Operators are assigned to a specific department and supervisor, they may work in another area if needed.

Job Responsibilities:

Receive merchandise into the building.

Repetitive lifting of cartons that could weigh up to fifty (70) pounds on a daily basis.

Able to work at a pace that is consistent with departmental productivity and quality standards.

Working in a safe manner on a daily basis and performing other duties as assigned.

Position will be required to move/rotate to different areas within the department depending on the daily workload

Ability to operate various types of forklifts at heights up to 35 feet

Must be certified on Reach Truck, Order Picker, Stock Picker
