Martin Marietta is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator in Marshall, MO to safely operate heavy equipment and move materials within the plant. The role requires inspecting equipment, basic maintenance, and adherence to safety protocols in outdoor conditions.

The position emphasizes teamwork, proper PPE usage, and minimal supervision while supporting plant operations and repairs for a leading heavy building materials company. Pay ranges from $23 to $26 per hour.

Competenze

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years of related experience preferred.
• Must hold a valid US drivers license.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of MSHA regulations.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with machines and tools and their maintenance.
• Must be able to work in outdoor conditions year-round.

JOB SUMMARY

Pay: $23 - $26 an hour Hours: 6am-6pm Monday - Friday

Martin Marietta is currently looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator at our surface operations in Marshall, MO. This position is responsible for safely operating heavy equipment to move material within the plant.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Participate in safety programs and training, promoting Martin Marietta's Guardian Angel culture
• Inspect equipment for signs of wear
• Perform basic maintenance on heavy mobile equipment
• Work in a team environment
• Clean work areas
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Proper wear of personal protective equipment
• Notify supervisors of repairs needed
• Ensure materials are properly loaded according to safety requirements
• Assist in plant maintenance and repairs
• Perform duties with minimum supervision

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• 1+ years of related experience
