Job summary

Taylor Corporation is seeking an Equipment Operator to join our Jeffersonville printing operations. You will prepare and operate printing press equipment, perform routine maintenance, and ensure color accuracy and quality while meeting deadlines.

Shifts run 10:00pm–6:00am Sunday night to Thursday night, with a path for growth. Taylor offers Day 1 benefits and DailyPay to support our team members from day one.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with precision.
• Experience with printing press maintenance and operation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate printing press equipment in accordance with job specifications and quality standards.
• Perform daily/weekly/monthly maintenance to ensure optimum output.
• Prepare inks for proper color and consistency.
• Check paper type, size, color, and quantity.
• Check plates for correct format and inspect forms for quality during runs.
• Coordinate with Production Team to prioritize jobs and meet deadlines.
• Maintain knowledge of safety requirements for job and equipment.

Your Opportunity

Taylor Corporation is looking for an Equipment Operator to join our team in our Jeffersonville facility!

Work Authorization

To be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Your Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate printing press equipment, in compliance with job specifications and in accordance with company quality standards and procedures.
• Performs daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output.
• Prepare inks for proper color and consistency.
• Check paper for type, size, color and quantity.
• Check plates for correct format
• Visually inspect forms throughout run for quality
• Coordinate with Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates.
• Maintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment.

Your Shift

• 10:00pm - 6:00am, Sunday night - Thursday night

You Must Have

• Ability to set adjustable mechanism to required tolerances
• High degree of mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• High degree of mechanical ability
• Good reading ability.

Requirements Within This Position

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
• Frequently required to move inside the facility
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)
