Equipment Operator – Hanover, PA

Staiman Recycling Corporation is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Equipment Operator to join our Hanover team. This position is responsible for operating a material handler and other equipment to support daily recycling operations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely operate a material handler and other heavy equipment as assigned.
• Load and unload trucks efficiently.
• Move, sort, and organize recyclable materials throughout the yard.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and housekeeping on equipment.
• Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures.
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to maintain efficient yard operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating heavy equipment preferred.
• Experience with material handlers, excavators, loaders, or similar equipment is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to identify equipment issues.
• Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work in an outdoor environment in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
