Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in plant operations including production, quality control, loading and shipping
• Assist with preventative and routine maintenance on mobile and plant equipment
• Must be willing to cross train in all plant areas
• Learn to operate plant-specific mobile equipment
• Perform daily pre/post-shift inspections on equipment and maintain the maintenance log
• Maintain good housekeeping in areas of responsibility
• Other duties as assigned

Work Environment

This job operates 100% of the time at a surface sand and gravel mine setting. This role frequently operates heavy equipment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
