Job summary

HireLevel, Inc. in Carbondale and Marion, IL is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely run dozers, excavators, tractors and related machinery.

Shift is 8:00 am–4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with Saturday as needed. Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, performing routine maintenance, moving raw materials and finished components with material handling equipment, and adhering to standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, tractors and palletizing machinery.
• Must have valid driver license and be able to pass background/drug screening.
• Experience per above equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Strip heavy duty metals according to grade
• Inspect equipment for defective parts and notify supervisor of defects or malfunctions
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment; maintains accurate records
• Move and position raw materials and finished components with use of material moving equipment
• Follow appropriate standard operating procedures as guideline for operating and maintaining vehicle

Job Category: Full‑Time

Contract Location: Carbondale and Marion, IL

Shift: 8am – 4:30pm Monday through Friday, Saturday as needed

Compensation: $20 BOE
