Job summary

Catalent is seeking an Equipment Operations Specialist for our Greenville, North Carolina site. The role focuses on maintaining equipment, spare parts, and tooling inventory to support both development and commercial manufacturing operations, all on-site.

The position requires lifting and physical requirements, with standard shift Mon–Fri, 8:00am–5:00pm, in Greenville, NC. Candidates should have a high school diploma and related technical experience, with associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of one year of applicable experience.
  • Associate degree in technical or life sciences discipline.
  • Position requires the ability to occasionally lift in excess of 40 lbs unassisted, and occasionally push and pull in excess of 100 lbs.
  • Majority of work day is performed while standing, walking.
  • Ability to use hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
  • Requires ability to bend, squat, reach, push, pull, climb, twist, and have full range of motion in upper and lower extremities.
  • Some exposure to hazardous chemicals, other active chemical ingredients, dust, fumes, and gases.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure an accurate and efficient supply of parts and materials to support operational efficiency.
  • Assist with the check-out/check-in process of manufacturing equipment, change parts, and tooling in the equipment storage areas.
  • Organize the physical accounts and electronic documentation of all inventory.
  • Assist with establishing inventory levels and conduct periodic inventory evaluations.
  • Review quality parts and perform tooling/parts inspections with generated reports.
  • Assist with maintenance of quality records for vendors and spare parts.
  • Compile and maintain all information and documentation under FDA guidelines.
  • Collaborate with facilities staff, contractors, and other users to coordinate repairs and installations.
  • Review blueprints, drawings, layouts or other specifications, to assess parts needs.
  • Support the physical inventory of spare parts, manufacturing equipment, and tooling is maintained for operational efficiency.
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Summary

With general supervision, the Equipment Operations Specialist maintains the equipment, spare parts, and tooling inventory to support operations in both development and commercial manufacturing areas.

Shift: Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Location: Greenville, NC
100% Onsite

The Role
