Job summary

QXO is seeking an Equipment Mechanic II in Hutto, TX to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, and repair services to support both operational and customer needs.

The role requires at least 2 years of experience and a complete set of tools. You'll work M-F 7am-4pm with occasional Saturdays in shop, yard, or field environments, lifting up to 75 lbs and possibly traveling for field service calls.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction equipment or equipment rental repair.
• Must have a complete set of personal hand tools.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and repair documentation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and operational issues on a variety of equipment.
• Inspect, repair, and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Remove, repair, reinstall, and adjust components such as engines, fuel systems, and related assemblies.
