Job summary

Altec is seeking an equipment mechanic/technician for field service across the U.S. and Canada. You will replace electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components, troubleshoot using manuals, and perform inspections while maintaining safety and a clean work area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Ability to move objects up to 75 pounds and frequently bend, stoop, kneel.
• High dexterity and basic computer skills with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work overtime as needed; commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Use manuals and support resources to troubleshoot and identify parts.
• Perform Unit Condition Inspections and prepare reports.
