Altec Industries, Inc. is seeking a motivated equipment mechanic to join its nationwide service network. The role focuses on repairing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components, using manuals and service resources to troubleshoot and source parts for repair.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, 3 years of Altec experience or equivalent, and strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Overtime flexibility and a safe, customer-focused work approach are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, state-approved High School Equivalency, or GED.
• Three years of Altec Manufacturing experience or equivalent service experience.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Ability to drive motor vehicles and operate basic tools as per policy.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform replacement of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components.
• Utilize technical resources to troubleshoot and identify parts needed for repair.
• Perform Unit Condition Inspections and Reports.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
• Adhere to Altec Safety practices and procedures.
• Provide accurate information on required documents.
