Job summary

BrightView Landscapes in Boonton, NJ is seeking a Mechanic to maintain and repair a range of engines and equipment. You will perform scheduled maintenance, diagnose issues, and ensure equipment runs safely and efficiently in a dynamic outdoor work setting.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of basic truck and vehicle maintenance experience, diesel and small engine knowledge, and welding skills. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus; a valid driver’s license may be required for BrightView

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience with basic truck and vehicle maintenance and repair
• Small engine, 2-cycle
• Diesel Engine, heavy and light equipment
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
• Welding experience

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of large and small engines
• Provide information and reports on equipment
• Ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and safely at all times
