Job summary

CR&R Incorporated in Perris, CA is hiring a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to maintain and repair equipment used in trash collection and recycling. The role focuses on excavators, backhoes, loaders, and related heavy machinery to keep operations running safely.

You will diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, engine and mechanical systems, perform preventative maintenance, document work, and support both shop and field repairs.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of heavy equipment mechanic experience.
• Experience in industrial or waste environments preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment including excavators, grizzlies, backhoes, loaders, and pavers.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, engine, and mechanical systems.
• Complete shop and field repairs.

Job Details: Job Location: Perris, CA - Perris, CA 92570, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $24.40 - $30.51 Hourly, Job Shift: Day, Keep the Fleet Moving. Fix the Machines That Power It.

Hourly Range: $21.41 - $30.51

Schedule: Monday - Friday and every other Saturday - Start 5:00 a.m. 9 to 10 hr. shifts

Heavy Equipment Mechanic – Solid Waste Operations

CR&R is hiring an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to support the maintenance and repair of critical equipment used in trash collection, recycling, and material movement. This role focuses on excavators, grizzlies, backhoes, loaders, pavers, and related heavy machinery that keep operations running safely and efficiently.
