DN is seeking a qualified Mechanic to join our team in maintaining and repairing equipment used in the construction of concrete storage tanks. You will perform preventative maintenance, handle parts, and support project teams to ensure peak reliability.

We value detail-oriented, technically skilled professionals who can work independently or with the team, travel as needed, and communicate effectively in English (Spanish preferred).

Qualificações

• 3+ years of maintenance and repair experience on tools and equipment, preferably hydraulic, electrical, diesel and pneumatic.
• Experience maintaining hydraulic, diesel, and pneumatic equipment.
• Basic technology skills including Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and update equipment availability records to support scheduling efficiency.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair on small tools, hydraulic, diesel, and pneumatic equipment.
• Conduct thorough equipment return inspections and document damages for readiness.
• Inventory control of parts for service on return to the warehouse.
• Handle requisition and ordering of parts to ensure availability.
• Provide support for maintenance of generators, pressure washers, sandblasters, nail guns and general tools.
• Light welding, fabrication, and general maintenance of warehouse/yard equipment.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting with project teams.
• Conduct failure analysis to identify root causes and prevent breakdowns.
• Review field inspection reports to identify maintenance needs and prioritize repairs.
• Provide guidance and training to Assistant Mechanics.
• Maintain a clean and organized mechanic and tool storage area.

As a Mechanic at DN, you will become an integral part of our team dedicated to maintaining and repairing our equipment, ensuring they remain in peak operational condition. You will play a crucial role in implementing effective preventative maintenance practices to uphold the reliability and performance of our equipment. Success in this role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong technical skills, the ability to work independently or as a part of a team, and the ability to provide guidance and support to the mechanic team.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain and update equipment availability records to ensure accurate tracking and support scheduling efficiency.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair on small tools, hydraulic, diesel, and pneumatic equipment, and other equipment related to the construction of our concrete storage tanks.
• Conduct thorough equipment return inspections to assess condition, documentdamages, and ensure readiness for future deployment.
• Inventory control of equipment parts required to service small tools, generators,pressure washers and other general construction tools on their return to thewarehouse.
• Handle the requisition and ordering of parts to ensure the availability of necessarycomponents for equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Provide support for general small tools maintenance such as generators, pressure washers, sandblasters, nail guns, and general construction tools.
• Light welding, fabrication, and general maintenance of warehouse/yard equipmentsuch as forklifts, etc.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting over the phone with ourproject teams.
• Conduct thorough failure analysis on equipment to determine root causes ofmechanical issues and prevent future breakdowns.
• Review and assess field inspection reports submitted through HCSS to identifymaintenance needs and prioritize repairs.
• Provide guidance, training, and hands-on support to Assistant Mechanics to ensureproper repair procedures and promote skill development within the team.
• Maintain a clean and organized mechanic and tool storage area

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience performing maintenance and repairs on tools and equipment, preferably hydraulic, electrical, diesel, and pneumatic.
• Experience performing maintenance and repair on hydraulic, diesel, and pneumatic equipment.
• Basic technology skills including Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Ability to travel as needed.

$31 - $34 an hour

This is our good faith estimate of the base salary compensation range for this opportunity. Individual pay decisions will vary based upon the experience and qualifications of the applicant. This range is based on market rates and determined by considering many factors such as external market salary survey data, internal data for comparable roles, and the operational and budgetary objectives of the company.
