Job summary

Biltmore Forest Country Club in Asheville, North Carolina is seeking an Equipment Manager II to lead maintenance of our turf equipment and support a high-performance golf course operation. You will work with the Lead Equipment Manager and report to the Golf Course Superintendent, ensuring reliable equipment and top course conditions.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication, and a collaborative attitude, with experience in turf equipment maintenance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher preferred.
• Experience with turf equipment (Toro preferred).
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance systems.
• Will consider related experience in lieu of formal education.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on turf equipment including mowers, sprayers, aerators, and utility vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues including engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules and accurate service records.
• Safely operate turf equipment and assist with daily setup and breakdown.
• Manage parts inventory and maintain organized, safe shop space.
• Promote safety and collaborate with agronomy leadership to align equipment readiness with schedules.
