Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in equipment management, inventory control, logistics or field service support.
  • Experience managing asset tracking systems and inventory records.
  • Strong planning, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced service environment.

Responsibilities

  • Procure and manage field service equipment and other assets.
  • Maintain accurate asset records and inventory.
  • Track calibration requirements and coordinate calibration and maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs.
  • Forecast equipment needs with Field Service leaders.
  • Ensure equipment availability for field operations and customer projects.
  • Coordinate shipping, receiving, deployment and return of equipment.
  • Conduct inventory audits and monitor utilization.
  • Develop processes to improve equipment readiness and visibility.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and asset management requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procure and manage field service equipment, including laptops, tools, calibrated test equipment, network hardware, equipment cases, and other operational assets.
  • Maintain accurate asset records and inventory within equipment management systems.
  • Track calibration requirements and coordinate calibration, preventative maintenance, and recertification activities.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs with manufacturers and service providers.
  • Partner with Field Service leaders to forecast short-term and long-term equipment needs based on service demand and project forecasts.
  • Ensure appropriate equipment availability to support field operations and customer commitments.
  • Coordinate shipping, receiving, deployment, and return of equipment for field technicians and customer projects.
  • Conduct inventory audits and monitor equipment utilization.
  • Develop and maintain processes that improve equipment readiness, asset visibility, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and asset management requirements.

This role serves as the primary point of accountability for ensuring field service personnel have the right equipment, in the right place, at the right time.
