Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking an Equipment Manager in Louisiana to oversee the complete lifecycle of construction equipment, ensuring reliability and safety to support project timelines. You will develop maintenance schedules, manage inventory, coordinate repairs, and lead a high-performing team while maintaining precise records and supplier relationships.

You will implement policies for the Equipment department, track budgets, solicit best prices for rentals, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field and 10+ years of equipment logistics experience.
• Alternative: high school diploma with 14+ years of equipment logistics experience and relevant licenses.
• Experience maintaining construction equipment and safety regulations; proficiency with inventory software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all equipment to ensure reliability.
• Create policies and procedures for Equipment department operations.
• Maintain accurate equipment inventory records and histories.
• Ensure equipment meets safety regulations; conduct inspections and audits.
• Schedule and coordinate repairs with Operations management.
• Track rental equipment; compare dealer quotes and manage in/out dates.
• Manage equipment budget, forecast costs, and identify cost savings.
• Resolve equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and delays.
• Build relationships with equipment suppliers and service providers.
• Hire, motivate, and lead a high-performing team; conduct coaching and evaluations.
• Oversee training, provide direction, and handle personnel actions as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
