Pay Rate: Up to $33/hr. (based on experience.)

Role Overview: Maintenance Technicians are responsible for supporting various equipment within our Lumber operations, including Bunk Cutters, Dust Collectors, EWP saws, Norfield door equipment, etc. They respond to service calls, perform preventative maintenance, address breakdowns, and support the operations team as needed. The technician ensures equipment is maintained in a safe and effective condition. State travel is required; a company vehicle and tools will be provided.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair equipment across multiple facilities in Atlanta, including Oakwood, Flowery Branch, and Newnan.
  • Respond to service calls, perform PMs, handle breakdowns, and support operations.
  • Document all work accurately and promptly.
  • Communicate findings or support needs with supervisors or team members.
  • Coordinate with outside contractors or vendors when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Support maintenance inventory management.
  • Follow safety procedures, including lockout/tagout protocols.
  • Enjoy your work and have fun!

Required Skills:

  • Positive attitude and team spirit
  • Valid driver’s license
  • At least 2 years of maintenance experience or equivalent trade education/certification
  • Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics
  • Willingness to travel short-term and work overtime as needed
  • Ability to work independently or in a team
  • Experience with forklifts, scissor lifts, and other PIVs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook
