Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Flooring Solutions Technician 2 in Pittsburgh to coordinate with leadership and provide high-value service on equipment. You will operate, setup, and repair equipment, demonstrating professional communication and reliability to minimize downtime.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, repair efficiency, and adherence to safety standards, with on-site responsibilities and potential on-call duties as part of a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with IC engines, propane, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training is desired.
• Must provide mechanic’s tools of the trade.
• Excellent trouble-shooting skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong safety-awareness and knowledge of equipment design and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform check-ins when equipment is returned to the shop.
• Load/unload equipment as needed and prep for repairs.
• Maintenance and repairs to ensure rent-ready condition.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform preventive maintenance.
• Maintain safe work environment and proper records.
