Job summary

Nitto Avecia is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to maintain process and process support equipment in line with department schedules at our Milford facility. You will perform maintenance per SOPs and PM work orders, assist with installations, and contribute to safety documentation.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2–5 years in process equipment maintenance, with at least 1 year in a cGMP environment. On-call rotation and scheduling software use are part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and ability to read equipment manuals.
• Experience with process equipment maintenance in a cGMP environment is preferred.
• Basic understanding of installation and safety documentation is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on process and process support equipment according to SOPs, PMs, or manuals.
• Follow all safety procedures while performing work.
• Periodically inspect equipment to ensure proper and safe operation.
• Assist with installation of equipment and write basic safety and maintenance procedures.
• Train entry level technicians and support senior technicians in troubleshooting.
• Serve on rotation for on-call support and respond as required.
• Utilize maintenance scheduling software to initiate, execute, and reconcile work orders.
• Adhere to prescribed safety procedures in all tasks.

About This Opportunity

As an Equipment Maintenance Technician, you'll be part of a team responsible for performing maintenance activity on process and process support equipment in accordance with departmental schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Executing all assigned work as described by written procedures (SOPs, PM work orders, or equipment manuals)
• Performing all work using all prescribed safety procedures
• Periodically inspecting equipment to ensure they are operating properly and safely
• Assisting with installation of equipment and write basic safety and maintenance procedures
• Training entry level technicians and supporting senior level technicians in troubleshooting
• Serving on rotation for on call support and be able to respond as required
• Utilizing maintenance scheduling software to initiate, execute, and reconcile maintenance work orders
• Performing all work using all prescribed safety procedures

Required Skills/Abilities

• High school diploma required
• Associates Degree, Certification, or License in any relevant maintenance trade preferred
• 2-5 years of process and process support equipment maintenance experience required
• At least 1 year of experience working in a cGMP environment is required

The annualized salary for this position is $69,200.00 - $84,700.00.
