Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals seeks an EMS Technician 1 in Georgia to perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on large equipment within the EMS category, ensuring safe, efficient operations to minimize downtime.

The role involves assisting shop mechanics with electrical/hydraulic/diesel repairs, equipment prep, and routine inspections. A HS diploma or GED and 1–3 years of relevant experience are preferred; tools may be required. Benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1–3 years mechanic experience with earth-moving/heavy equipment preferred.
• Must be able to provide mechanic's tools.

Responsibilities

• Performs check-ins and minor repairs when equipment is returned to the shop.
• Assists other shop mechanics with loading/unloading of equipment as needed.
• Assists with electrical, hydraulic, and diesel engine repairs or maintenance.
• Cleans, pressure washes and preps equipment for repairs.
• May perform full service maintenance on small equipment (two-stroke engines, generators).
• Maintain safe work environment per safety standards.
