Job description

CTG is seeking to fill an Equipment Maintenance Technician (Diffusion) position for our client.

Location: Palm Bay, FL

Duration: Client Permanent Placement

Duties:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on semiconductor diffusion equipment in a wafer fabrication environment.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex equipment problems and implement effective solutions.

• Install, operate, repair, and maintain electromechanical manufacturing equipment.

• Diagnose, test, and repair equipment using established electrical repair procedures.

• Work with pneumatic, vacuum, hydraulic, and robotic systems.

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.

• Support equipment performance and reliability in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.

• Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles and practices within the manufacturing environment.

• Communicate equipment issues, maintenance activities, and resolutions effectively with engineering, production, and other support teams.

• Follow all applicable safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.

Skills:

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.

• Demonstrated knowledge of pneumatic, vacuum, hydraulic, and robotic systems.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience supporting semiconductor diffusion equipment, including Thermco TMX 9000/10000 and SVG VTR 6000/7000 systems.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing complex electromechanical equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• This is an ITAR role; candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person.
• This position is 100% onsite in Palm Bay, FL.
• Work schedule is a compressed work week: 3 days, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM one week and 4 days the following week. Both day and night shifts are available.

Education:

• Associate degree (AS or AA) in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field; military technical training may be considered.
• Candidates without a degree may qualify with 5+ years of relevant equipment maintenance experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position is $45.00 hourly. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
