Job summary

LGH USA in Arlington, TX is seeking a mechanically inclined maintenance technician to keep our hoisting and rigging rental equipment in top condition. You will inspect, disassemble, repair, reassemble and test electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment to ensure safe, ready-to-rent performance.

Responsibilities include performing routine preventative maintenance, preparing rental orders, operating a forklift, and transporting equipment to jobsites with company vehicles.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical background or aptitude strongly preferred (automotive mechanic/machine shop/heavy equipment operator).
• Valid Driver's License with good driving record; ability to meet insurance underwriting guidelines required.
• DOT certification required upon commencement of employment (LGH expense); certification must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental equipment orders and conduct inspections to ensure quality standards.
• Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, reassemble and test electrical, hand operated, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on rental equipment.
• Operate forklift to load/unload delivery vehicles and move equipment within the warehouse.
• Drive company vehicles to transport rental orders in a safe and timely manner.
