Job summary

• Perform mechanical design tasks requiring knowledge of basic engineering principles
• Use hand tools including Allen wrenches, torque wrenches, and socket wrenches (no exceptions)
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and part drawings
• Support project management activities within the manufacturing environment
• Work overtime hours as requested based on business needs

Experience Required

• 0 to 5 years of relevant experience
• Minimum of 2 years' work experience in a manufacturing environment required
• 1 year of experience in project management or manufacturing environment preferred

Skills & Certifications

• Proficiency with Allen wrenches, torque wrenches, and socket wrenches
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• PC skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Minitab, SAP, CAD, MS Project, and Visio
• Working knowledge of blueprints, schematics, and part drawings
• Basic and applied engineering principles

Eligibilities & Qualifications

• Two-year degree in applied technical sciences or equivalent from a vocational/technical college
• Must pass on-site eye exam
• Steel toe or composite-toe shoes required
• No drug screening required for this assignment
• Background check must clear (may start with background pending)
• Willing to work G-Shift schedule (8 AM-8 PM, 3 on/2 off/2 on/3 off) and overtime as needed
