Job summary

Staffmark Group is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician in Orangeburg, SC. The role focuses on testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment to keep production lines running safely and efficiently.

You will perform electrical and electronic tests, support firmware loading, calibrate test systems, and collaborate with Engineering to minimize downtime. A technical associate degree and 3+ years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 3+ years in electronic test, troubleshooting, or manufacturing support.
• Strong understanding of electronic circuits, schematics, and diagnostics.
• Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and other test equipment.
• Familiarity with firmware flashing, hardware integration, and automated test environments.
• Able to analyze problems and implement efficient solutions in fast-paced production.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, electronic, and functional testing to verify product performance and quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve failures at component, circuit board, and system levels with schematics and tools.
• Develop and optimize test and burn-in processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Review and maintain process documentation, procedures, and specs for accuracy.
• Analyze test yields and failures, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.
